5 stars for the vibes alone! This place is an extremely special gem that I hope stays the same forever... it's like I stepped into a time capsule or a film in which I'm the main character. Perfectly situated next to Paramount Studios, it's cinematically poetic. I love every little detail about this place from the vintage backlit menu to the small booths and the healthiest live plants adorning the inside. I got the LA Burger plate as recommended by the kindest staff; I especially loved their homemade sweet potato fries. Is it Michelin Star cuisine? Not exactly but for the retro diner experience I was looking for, it was perfect. I will most definitely be back.
I would give this 3.5 stars, but 4 for effort. I'm veg, and it's really hard to make veg good and at a non veg place. But THANK YOU for having veg options!! I ordered the veg dog + chili, onion rings, and the choco PB shake. While the dog + chili looked amazing, it just didn't hit for me. I liked that they were veggies like carrots and peppers in the chili, but it didn't really add much. The bun is wheat, that made it healthy for me and I didn't order a chili cheese dog to be healthy lol! The onion rings and the shake were bomb tho, 5/5 for those! Staff was nice, everything else was great. I've been before, I think I tried the veg burger, I'm sure I'll be back for another unhealthy snack
Good gyro but expensive...doesn't come with fries or drink. I enjoyed my $17 gyro and medium soda, and happy they had free parking and a clean dining room. Next time, if there is a next time, I'd try the cheese burger. But this place did give me sticker shock.
Astro burger has been one of my favorites in Hollywood. I usually get the vegan burger. And I do sometimes get the cheeseburger regular . Super service very friendly employees I love having my burger and fries at the restaurant . Has a diner feel to it , very comfortable, easy-going.
Been coming here for 20 years. Jeez. Love the milkshake. Burger xtra cheese Fried chicken sandwich extra cheese Breakfast. A few vegetarian options are great. Can't say nothin about the shrimp quesodilla cause I don't mess with seafood. Quit trying to get me to try the seafood anywhere. Knock it off. I'm good. I'm 47. I don't need to try anything new except for alcohol and desserts that aren't too weird like pilates or whatever those small plates of desserts are called at the fancy nancy places. Staff is always friendly. Atm. Clean bathrooms. Ledge can hold phone for bathroom selfies! Has a classic old school look to it. Thank you.
it's a solid burger chain in LA with good portions. it ain't cheap anymore (all american burger combo with fried zucchini and a soda was $23 with card (cash is cheaper) but it was solid and had good flavor. solid place.
